Aleppo soap is a traditional natural soap, known for its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and moisturizing properties, thanks to its combination of olive oil and laurel it is ideal for sensitive skins, or problems such as acne or psoriasis. At La Marihuela we make this soap with extra virgin olive oil, organically and locally produced, and with laurel berry oil, also from organic production, respecting the original recipe.

Our Aleppo soap also has three important features that improve the experience of using it:

Its size is 110g and it is shaped like a bar, unlike the usual cube shape which is kept this way for logistics savings. The travel size is 20g.
The saponification process is carried out in a controlled environment, both in terms of temperature and humidity, which makes the soap saponify evenly, having a homogeneous colour and texture and preserving the delicious aroma of laurel fruits. This makes it ideal for all skin types.
We make it with the oil from the pulp of laurel berries, which enhances its benefits. This was the traditional method, which has been modified by most manufacturers due to the high cost of the raw material and the difficulty of handling the oil in this format (dense paste).

It contains natural salts that allow its use even with hard water (with lime and other metals), generating the creamy lather that is characteristic of Aleppo Soap.

It is a fragrance-free soap, so it is suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. However, you will be able to enjoy the characteristic aroma of laurel. A sensation that will captivate you in the shower!

It is a soap with moisturizing, emollient, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, due to the richness of monounsaturated fatty acids in olive oil and the natural glycerine produced during the saponification process. On the other hand, laurel oil gives it antiseptic, antifungal and healing properties.

Aleppo soap is named after the city where it originated and is known as the first soap in history in its sodium salt form, as a result of the saponification process. It is a natural soap made locally and by hand using traditional processes using only organically produced extra virgin olive oil and laurel berry oil.

Extra virgin olive oil from organic production, which provides protection against the most harmful environmental factors we live with today. It has emollient properties perfect for dry and rough skin, as well as providing deep hydration, it contains numerous vitamins with antioxidant effects.
Organic bay berry oil, which has antibiotic, antiseptic and antifungal properties. It is also very nutritious and gives softness and elasticity to the skin.
