How to use
For incorporation into cosmetic preparations with water:

  • Mix the red clay in a little cold water.
  • Add the mixture to your cosmetic product.

For incorporation into oil-based preparations, disperse the red clay until a homogeneous mixture is obtained.

To make a red clay mask:

  • The first thing you need to keep in mind is that you can incorporate different types of clays or plant powders that you consider, as long as they are suitable for masks. However, red clay can be used alone in masks. Its most common combined use is with white clay to form pink clay, where the concentration of one or the other will depend on the application of the preparation.
  • Once you have chosen all your ingredients, mix the chosen clays, other active ingredients and plant powders in a suitable container.
  • Add water or a hydrosol while mixing to obtain a smooth, creamy paste.

What you should know

  • The mask prepared with clay does not contain preservatives and should be applied after preparation.
  • If you plan to add essential oils to the clay paste, do so with a small amount of oil or solubilizer to dissolve them.
