Product description

Soy wax is a versatile and eco-friendly ingredient, perfect for those looking to create high-quality artisanal products, whether in the manufacture of homemade candles or in the creation of natural cosmetics. This wax comes from 100% natural and eco-friendly soybean oil, making it biodegradable, renewable and toxin-free.

When used in candle making, soy wax burns cleanly and long without releasing toxic fumes, making it a healthier choice for your home. Its relatively low melting point allows candles to melt evenly, providing a long-lasting, smooth scent dispersion, ideal for aromatherapy.

In cosmetics, soy wax acts as an excellent emollient, moisturizing and nourishing the skin naturally. It is an ideal ingredient for making lip balms, moisturizing creams and body lotions, thanks to its soft texture and its beneficial properties for the skin.

Other information of interest

When using soy wax for candles it is important to keep the following recommendations:

  • Melt the soy wax at 10-15ºC above the melting point. It is important to check that it is completely melted and transparent.
  • Cool the soy wax to about 50ºC and fill the chosen container.
  • Soy wax can be used alone or mixed with other waxes or additives.
  • If soy wax is not melted properly (clear), it can create crystals and frosting in the final product.
  • The pouring temperature must be respected and it is recommended that the containers be at room temperature or above.
  • Cooling too quickly can cause moisture spots and cracks, while cooling too slowly can cause frost.
