This sponge is treated with thermal water from Caldas de Reis (Galicia) giving it a soft and delicate texture, ideal for baby, and sensitive skins in general. Without losing the properties of the loofah, it allows us to provide exceptional skin care.

Loofah is a plant of tropical origin that is cultivated in Spain in an artisanal way thanks to an agroforestry project to revitalize the natural cultivation of vegetable sponges.

This plant is cut and shaped to make natural sponges and scouring pads.

When in contact with water, these sponges release cucurbitacin, a compound that provides hydration, which is why when wet they increase in size three or four times.

Tips for use and maintenance

It should be rinsed after each use, drained and left to air dry. You can use the sisal rope that comes with it for this.
It should be stored in a dry place or simply left hanging.
Occasionally they can be boiled for 15 seconds to kill bacteria.
When it changes colour or starts to smell can be composted.
